2023 Call

The call for the 2nd Edition of HaHaArt Film Festival will be open until July 31st, 2023.

For the competition, there will only be accepted comedy short films with a maximum of 30 minutes runtime. The year of production of the submitted films must be 2020 onward. The films in the competition are considered for the following award categories:

Best National Comedy Short Film (500,00€ award)

Best International Comedy Short Film (500,00€ award)

Best National Comedy Short Film Director (300,00€ award)

Best International Comedy Short Film Director (300,00€ award)

Audience Award (300,00€ award)

The official selection will include about 40 short films. This number may vary according to festival´s needs.

Applicants may submit a maximum of 3 films per director/production team.

Films in all languages are accepted, as long as they are sent with either Portuguese or English subtitles.

The submitted films must be in digital format, with the purpose of being shown on the big screen.
