Throughout the years, HaHaArt has invited comedy film professionals to share their experience and knowledge with the audience. In an intimate and informal learning environment, these sessions offer insight into different creative processes and provide a close-up look at the tools and methods used in comedy.

Manuel Pureza
Manuel Pureza studied photography and filmmaking at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema and soon became one of the youngest television directors. He directed short films such as “A Bruxa de Arroios,” winner of the Méliès d’Argent in 2012, and “Kieza,” which screened at Cannes in 2016. In 2021, he premiered two of the most successful comedy series on Portuguese television: “Até que a Vida nos Separe” and “Pôr do Sol.” He is a co-founder and producer at Coyote Vadio. He has received two nominations for the International Emmy Awards.
Guillermo García-Ramos
The Spanish screenwriter and director studied screenwriting in Madrid and continued his education at the New York Film Academy. Since then, he has explored cinematic storytelling in its various forms. Over the past two decades, he has also devoted himself to teaching at film schools and festivals. An expert in pitching, he has trained and mentored professionals and currently serves as an instructor at ECAM and other film institutions.
