EDITION 2026 - REGULATION

  • 1. GENERAL INFORMATION

The 5th Edition of the HaHaArt International Comedy Film Festival is once againpromoted by the Pombal Film Society in partnership with the Pombal City Hall. Both in Portugal and around the world, there is a multitude of generalist film festivals to be found, but too few thematic ones. By promoting a film festival entirely dedicated to comedy, we aim to promote a film genre too often disregarded as secondary and to which is ascribed too little artistic merit. The festival has as its main goals to encourage, disseminate and promote comedy films, to support new creators, to attract and create new audiences, and to favor exchanges between participants. The screening of the films competing in this edition of the HaHaArt Film Festival will take place in the city of Pombal from the 22nd to the 26th of October 2026.
